Beth Harrington is the President and Founder of Benefit Resources, Inc. She started with a vision, and a passion for Retirement plans. Twenty-eight years, and over four hundred clients later, she is still growing and going strong, helping the people of the Sacramento and the surrounding areas retire with confidence.

At Benefit Resources we provide Third Party Administration (TPA) services to help companies with the administration of their retirement plans. It doesn’t matter if the plan is a traditional Defined Benefit pension plan, a 401(k) plan, 403(b) plan or profit sharing plan – all retirement/pension plans need plan administration services.
Beth Harrington, ERPA, QPA
Beth has devoted her career to helping businesses design and administer state-of-the art retirement plans. She established Benefit Resources in 1987 after graduating from the University of California at Davis and spending 8 years in the fields of banking, accounting, and financial planning. She is an IRS Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent and holds a certification as a Qualified Pension Administrator. Beth is a dynamic speaker and writer. She enjoys reading, playing tennis, and playing with her grandson, Avery.
Damita started her career at Benefit Resources in 1997 at the front desk. She learned the business quickly, and helped develop countless systems and processes to make our company better. Damita is now the Distribution Department manager processing requests from plan participants for distributions, loans, hardship withdrawals, required minimum distributions, and Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. She has mastered the requirements of all of the various investment companies that custody the assets for our clients’ plans. Damita is an excellent listener, and has a very quick wit.
Kathy M. Cannon, QKA, QPA, ERPA
Kathy’s experience in the retirement plan industry spans over three decades. In 2006 she joined the Benefit Resources team. She is responsible for work assignments, quality and control review, development, client consultations, and in-house training. Kathy’s passion is education. Kathy is the President of the Sacramento chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council and Vice President Continuing Education Officer of their Governing Board. Kathy also teaches the Employee Benefits at the UC Davis Extension Certified Financial Planning course. She is an IRS Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent, and has certifications as a Qualified 401k Administrator, Qualified Pension Administrator and successfully completed the Employee Stock Ownership Plan Administrative Course. Kathy is a devoted animal lover and currently has two active dogs and one lazy cat.
Kim is a perfect example of home-grown talent. She started at Benefit Resources as our receptionist, and quickly took over the day-to-day activities necessary to run our office. She has served as our office manager and accounting manager for over a decade. She is responsible for our accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Kim brings common sense and institutional knowledge to work every day. Kim and her family are long-time Roseville residents and her youngest daughter Klarissa recently enrolled at University Nevada Reno.
